A highly cost effective way of paying vendors directly from Sage 300. Vendors to be paid by EFT are selected by report and bank group within Accpac Accounts Payable, which therefore allows non EFT vendors’ (if any) to continue to be paid by cheque. During the AP payment processing run, (print pre cheque register, post payments), a file is created containing vendor payment details. This file is then “imported” into the EFT database and converted into a new output file format recognised by the bank, ready to be uploaded into the bank’s system electronically.


  • User definable reference field will appear on the vendor’s bank statement. The reference details can reside within Accpac or alternatively can be added at runtime within EFT. This is particularly suited to the new SARS e filing procedures. Beware. Not all banks can accommodate this. Please check with your bank if this requirement is mission critical.
  • User definable upload file names. There are three choices available. Default filename, “eftpaymt.upl”, user definable “anyfilename.upl” or a sequentially numbered file name, “eftp0001.upl” which is incremented on each run.
  • Archive and Merge facilities.
  • Batches can be archived on import from Accpac. Multiple archive batches can be merged into one upload file.
  • Vendor banking details can be added or edited from within EFT on a convenient single input screen using ODBC.
  • Vendor Miscellaneous notes can be created and stored within EFT. Allows for the recording of simple notes, bank details, contact names etc. Notes can be printed.
